توقعت رئيسة مجلس المستشارين الاقتصاديين في البيت الأبيض، سيسيليا روز، أن التطورات الجارية في أوكرانيا قد تشكل ضغطا إضافيا على الأسعار خلال العام المقبل. ونقلت وكالة رويترز عن روز قولها “من المرجح أن تكون تطورات أوكرانيا عاملاً في رفع أسعار الطاقة والغذاء بشكل أكبر”. وأضافت أن “هذا بدوره يمكن أن يزيد التضخم في البلاد”. وأشارت روز إلى إن البيت الأبيض سينقح افتراضاته الاقتصادية في وقت لاحق من العام، مع الأخذ بالاعتبار الحرب في أوكرانيا وتأثيرها على التضخم.
